Buhle Student Houses have 33 fully equipped kitchens but the real differentiator for us is that all our stoves are gas stoves! There is seldom a week that the electricity is not cut in the Vanderbijlpark area, but at Buhel our students can still cook.
We offer 7 subsidized laundromats. Because at Buhle student only pays R5.00 per load! This facility is available within walking distance from all the student rooms.
This is an all-time favorite with the students. Conveniently located in all the social gathering locations and pools. Students enjoy this perk and see it as a way to relax in the evenings after classes or over weekends.
In all the complexes we offer trampolines, ideal for toning and exercising your body or simply to relax. We also have outside social areas for the student that provide entertainment such as pool and foosball tables.
At all the Buhle complexes we have a beautiful cerein pool available for the student, ideal for a fun and relaxing atmosphere. We pride ourselves on the clean and neat surroundings we offer.
We know how important the internet is to learning students that is why we offer 10 Gigs of data per student per month. We have great Wi-Fi reception throughout the whole campus.
Each Buhle complex has 2 study halls available for the student to use as a space of learning and education. Group study sessions are often held here.
Buhel has completely enclosed parameter security with parking available inside complexes for all our students.
Our parameter security with turn style gates makes controlled access very easy as well as to enforce the COVID-19 rules and regulations. We use a biometric system to allow only our students access to the premises.
We have both VUT and NWU students who use Buhle as there student accommodation, for the NWU students we have a transport bus that runs between 8:00 am. to 7:00 pm every 45 minutes.
At our social locations like the kitchen areas, we have TV facilities available in all of them for our student’s enjoyment.
Opposite the Buhle Main Complex Buhle developed and maintains a soccer field for all the students to enjoy, we often have inhouse matches.
Buhle has its own plumbers, electricians, gardeners, and cleaners employed 5 days a week but we always have a member of our maintenance team on-site 24/7.
We offer a balanced environment for all the students at Buhle, we pride ourselves on our beautiful gardens ideal for any student looking for someplace to relax.
Within Vanderbijlpark there lie a few challenges, even with the perfect locations from two well-accredited universities students still are faced with the predicament of power outages for that reason Buhle replaced all the electric stoves with gas, replaced all the electric solar geysers with gas geysers, and have invested in rechargeable lights to assist the Buhle students 24/7.
